Even though ignorance is a negative, it has become so pervasive in the U.S., it is almost palpable, and very frightening. My own experience is that it is no longer possible to explain to most people what is going on because they do not have the simplest conception of what individual liberty is or what this country is about. They know none of its history, none of its principles, and nothing about values or integrity or purpose or meaning.

Whatever hope there is for this country, if there is any, it will have to come from individuals-- like you.

(More writing is planned, but has been severely curtailed lately by other obligations, which are about over.)

Absolutely correct in your description of America and the proximite cause of the conversion of America to amerika - ignorance.  Sad.
